CONTEMPORARY DANCE TECHNIQUE "HAPPY FEET" | Milan Tomášik
CONTEMPORARY DANCE TECHNIQUE "HAPPY FEET" / A+B level, C level
Technique is focused on dancing and approaching it from many different perspectives: rhythm, melody, lengthening, speed, exercising the stamina, a coordination of different body parts and relation between them, body tension which directly influences expression, spins, tiny/small jumps, big/huge jumps. The aim is to get the accessible, articulated, virtuosic and rhythmical body. Virtuosic means that dancers have to do the maximum that their bodies and minds are capable of in a given moment. Every person has different limits, but doing the class the right way, the feeling is clear: you are prepared and able to do anything at any time without physically harming your body and you don’t want to stop dancing.
