Lithuanian Dance Information Center together with Lithuanian Culture Institute had organized a fourth edition of the Dance Platform where international producers were presented Lithuanian dance news, dance theaters, performers and their newest productions. The programme was attended by 16 experts from Baltic States, Western Europe, Belarus, Armenia, USA and Israel, representing dance and performing arts festivals and organizations like High Fest, Théâtre de Liège, Bazaar Festival, Alfred ve dvoře theatre, C-DaRE, DANCE festival, Theatre + Body, Staatstheatre Freiburg, Sunnane Della, Latvian Dance Information Center, International Video Institute, Kinneksbond, Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava, Theater Rotterdam, Hull City Council and Hull Dance.

In two days guests got a chance to see a showcase of five existing pieces and also, work-in-progress presentations from Lithuanian artists. This Dance Platform not only lets Lithuanian dance artists to meet dance producers from all around the world and gives opportunities present their work abroad, but also initiates international cooperation, participation in residencies, national and international networking and contributes to professional improvement of Lithuanian dance field.
