Dance.lt Sumer Intensive, the largest contemporary dance education event in Lithuania, has not been canceled – as planned, it will take place in August and will invite the dance community to end the summer with new knowledge and inspiration for the upcoming season.
The ever-changing situation in a pandemic-affected world has become a challenge for organizers of international events. “We are currently discussing the possible scale and format of dance workshops, which teachers will have the opportunity to come from abroad. Although our opportunities are limited this year, we are glad to announce that we will be offering something new – an additional week-long creative laboratory for the youngest dancers – teenagers aged 12-14,” – says project coordinator Laima Zamžickė.
