Experiential anatomy | Amy Voris ir Natalie Garrett Brown

Experiantial anatomy

Drawing on experiential anatomy (especially the fluid and organ systems), we will begin with somatisations, visualisations and hands‐on work leading into a variety of improvisational structures. The material presence of the body is considered as creatively generative and poetic. The intention in these sessions is to cultivate a sensitivity to quality of movement alongside a pleasure in moving. Individualised movement responses to stimuli are welcome throughout the class.

Each day will be dedicated for the exploration of a different system:
1. skin
2. bone
3. lungs / respiratory system
4. heart / circulatory system
5. connective tissue
