{"id":17517,"date":"2025-07-22T10:44:31","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T07:44:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dance.lt\/new\/?p=17517"},"modified":"2025-07-22T10:45:14","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T07:45:14","slug":"open-call-counter-balance-residencies-for-research-and-creation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dance.lt\/new\/en\/2025\/07\/22\/open-call-counter-balance-residencies-for-research-and-creation\/","title":{"rendered":"OPEN CALL: COUNTER BALANCE \u2013 Residencies for research and creation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"175\">We invite you to apply for the new residency format \u201cCounter Balance \u2013 Residencies for Research and Creation\u201d as part of the first edition of the <strong>Tanztriennale in June 2026 in Hamburg.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"177\" data-end=\"304\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">This is a great opportunity for dance artists and creators to explore interdisciplinary and cross-genre forms of collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The Counter Balance residencies provide two different residency formats for exploration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Research:<\/strong> 4-week tandem research with the opportunity to present the outcomes of the exploration in a form that feels relevant to the discoveries during the Tanztriennale week from June 14 \u2013 21, 2026.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"177\" data-end=\"304\"><strong>Short Creation:<\/strong> 6-week residency towards a short creation under 30 minutes.
