Choreographic research project \u2018Standing on Earth\u2019 was started by Gr\u0117t\u0117 \u0160mitait\u0117 in March 2020, with the start of covid-19 pandemic, to rethink one\u2019s relations with places and people.<\/p>\n

The environment and society are perceived as constantly information, while one is opening one\u2019s eyes upon them, always a participant of them.<\/p>\n

The research was:<\/p>\n

-observing, adapting and dancing \u2018out in the open\u2019<\/p>\n

-reading books by Tim Ingold. Perceiving the world that is worldling, that is changing as the weather does.<\/p>\n

-reading \u2018Contact Quarterly dance journal 1975-1992\u2019<\/p>\n

-sharing one\u2019s doings with the mentor of the research Stephen Batts and colleagues: Christine Quoiraud, R\u016bta Junevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117, Hanna Kritten Tangsoo, Magdalena Meindl, Lyllie Rouvi\u00e8re, Forough Fami, Iivy Meltaus.<\/p>\n
