● PART I: Strategies for distribution of Performing Arts. Project and its projection. The “What for”. Markets and visibility points. Networking. Methods in work and praxis. Communication. Profile of communicator.
● PART II: Applications, open calls. Materials. How to? Office work and organisation. Ecology / energy / effort. Creativity / capacity for change – mutations. Values and ethic of work.
The workshop is directed to ARTISTS, PRODUCERS, MANAGERS AND PROFESSIONALS RELATED TO PERFORMING ARTS SECTOR.
The GOAL of this workshop is to detect the tools and methods for work in specific circumstances and in relation to specific partners. The idea of internationalisation and projection of our project to a specific environment. It’s an individual and collective study of applicable methods for practical solutions in work.
LECTURER Iva Horvat is university professor of Kinesiology, dancer, choreographer and stage director in dance and theatre. ART REPUBLIC is the agency for strategies and mobility in performing arts, that she founds and runs together with Elise Garriga. Mentor and professor in management and distribution. Fellow professor at HKU, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht. Leading mentor in Producers Development Programme Grand Theatre Groningen.
