Other artistic activity
Monday dance for babies. Dance class for children of 8–14 months age and their parents or grandparents where they explore various objects and movements. Dancers-teachers lead them to dance world by trying different movements which develop coordination, balance and fine motor skills. These experiences will further lead into dance perception and interpretation, which might be expressed by children not only verbally, but also kinesthetically.
Professionals and children on stage. Dansema dancers together with children in three days create a dance performance „Creation of the World“ (choreographer Birutė Banevičiūtė, composer Rasa Dikčienė). The idea of the project is based on the concept of possible story of the world. These concepts children express through their movements improvised in collaborative process together with professional dancers. This is great experience for kids who without any preliminary dance experience can participate in a performance with professional dancers.
Dansema has implemented this project several times in Lithuania, also in Brussels, Ramallah, Kijev, Shanghai.
This project also suits for children with various mental, physical or behavioral disorders.
