International performing arts festival ConTempo is happy to announce the Adventure edition! The festival will take place in Kaunas, Lithuania on 21-23 August, 2020.
Festival is looking for artists and collectives from Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Lithuania with teams of up to 5 people.
Performances – contemporary dance, theater, cross-disciplinary pieces which can take place outdoors – in the open-air urban spaces, on the water or near the water. You’ve read that correctly, we plan to use the beautiful rivers Nemunas and Neris, as well as water transport for performances, as the banks of river provide plenty of space for the social-distancing audience. Performances should be easily adaptable for different locations and comply with all social-distancing regulations.

Deadline: 22 June, 2020. The proposal has to include a description of up to 300 words, a link to a full video of your performance, technical rider and the number of times you can perform a day.

ConTempo is an international performing arts festival, initiated by “Kaunas – European Capital for Culture 2022”, organized in Kaunas and Kaunas district, Lithuania since 2019. As suggested by the name, ConTempo festival is a part of Kaunas journey from temporary to contemporary capital.
