Arts Printing House is an umbrella organization for NGO’s and is one and still the only production company and venue which covers contemporary performing arts field in Vilnius. Established in a former printing house dating back to 1585, nowadays it aims to develop and present Lithuanian performing arts, educate the audience about its fresh forms and host international artists. 3000 m2 of space are functioning as a performing arts center with 2 venues, 3 rehearsal spaces, offices, resource library and café.
Since 2002 when the Arts Printing House was established, various NGO’s work under our roof as long term and short term residents, have their offices and spaces for rehearsals and performing. Hundreds of theatrical, contemporary dance, new circus, interdisciplinary and educational projects also take place annually in the building. Apart from this creative greenhouse, organization also has a young artists program Open Space, international residency program Print Art on Stage and three festivals of our own: international contemporary circus festival New Circus Weekend, international festival for young audiences KITOKS and international street theatre festival SPOT.
