LAND BEFORE TIME
Workshops: Slow Motion practise (Level A – B; C)
Land Before Time is an artistic partnership from Sweden, formed by Joanna Holewa Chrona and Yared Tilahun Cederlund. Blending dance, deejaying, choreography, and sound composition, their work explores rhythm, connection, and the spaces between movement and music.
Rooted in both local and global influences, they create performances that merge streetdance traditions with experimental sound and improvisation. Land Before Time’s piece Waterkind was selected by Aerowaves as part of the Twenty25 Artists, and presented at the Spring Forward Festival 2025. Their work has toured internationally to growing acclaim, reaching audiences across Europe and beyond. Previous and upcoming engagements include performances in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Lithuania, Holland, Scotland, the Netherlands, Croatia, the UK, Italy, Germany, and Malta.
Guided by curiosity, nature, intuition, and rhythm, Land Before Time continues to explore how movement and sound can open spaces of empathy and collective transformation.

Appointed to head the Centre Chorégraphique National (CCN) of Rillieux-la-Pape in August 2011, Yuval Pick has a long career as a performer, teacher and choreographer. Trained at the Bat-Dor Dance School in Tel Aviv, he joined the Batsheva Dance Company in 1991, which he left in 1995 to embark on an international career with artists such as Tero Saarinen, Carolyn Carlson and Russel Maliphant. He joined the Lyon National Opera Ballet in 1999 before founding his own company, The Guests, in 2002.
Since then, he has created pieces marked by an elaborate writing of the movement, accompanied by important collaborations with musical composers and where, in a form of ritual, the dance proposes a balance constantly questioned between the individual and the group.
CHRISTINA MERTZANI
Workshops: Contemporary Dance (Level B – C, Open), Partnering (Level B – C)
A choreographer, dancer and teacher, Christina Mertzani graduated from Athens State School of Dance in Greece, in 2004, and holds a degree in Homeopathy by Akadimia of Ancient Greek and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
As a performer, Christina has worked with Johannes Wieland (Germany), Stella Zannou (Greece), Peter Vesperton (New Zealand), Kostandin Mivos (Greece), Helder Seabra (Belgium), Kat Valastur (Germany), Apostolia Papadamaki (Greece) and among others, as well as performed choreographies by Wim Vandekeybus, Mark Morris and Martha Graham.
Christina has presented her creations Metamorfosis, Inside, Athenian house, Mix-up, Cube, Alternative Bodies, Stheno, Run Away, Minotaur, Beyond Illusion and video dance works Entanglement, Reborn Temptation and 60 Pulses in more than 30 countries around the world.
In the past 20 years, she has been teaching and choreographing around the world for different companies, universities, state theaters, festivals and studios for professional dancers. Some of the places she has collaborated are Folkwang University, Sasha Waltz & Guests, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Beijing Dance Academy, Tainan University of Technology, b12 festival, one small step festival, Cie.toula limnaios, Marameo, Staatstheater Osnabrück, Landesbühnen Sachsen, Staatstheater Kassel, Staatstheater Heidelberg, Tanzbüro Basel, Stadttheater St. Gallen, Staatstheater Bern, Nachschub, HJS Profitraining Amsterdam, solo visions in motion, Landestheater Linz, Anton Bruckner University, Staatstheater Bielefeld, Staatstheater Braunschweig, AKBANK Sanat Istanbul and many more.
She served as a faculty member of Anton Bruckner University in Linz, Austria for two years (2017-2018).
Christina co-directed with Evangelos Poulinas for 9 years (2010-2018) the International Contemporary Dance Festival in Corfu, Greece, One Small Step.
THEO CLINKARD

Theo Clinkard is a queer dance artist based in rural England. His practice spans choreography, pedagogy, performance and design. Following 18 years dancing for many celebrated choreographers, Theo launched his own company in 2012 and has steadily built an international reputation for creating affecting and visually arresting dances for small to large-scale theatres as well as non-theatre settings. Past company productions include ‘Ordinary Courage’, ‘Chalk’, ‘Of Land & Tongue’ and ‘This Bright Field’ and his company have toured to Chile, Ireland, Switzerland, and Germany. Commissioned works include creations for Tanztheatre Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Danza Contemporanea de Cuba, Candoco Dance Company and National Dance Company Wales.
Theo regularly leads intensive workshops, residencies and classes internationally for professional companies, dance organisations and training institutions, including engagements in Chile, Belgium, Ireland, Germany, Wales, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, United States, France, Spain, Cuba, Italy, Finland, Sweden and Norway. He is an Associate Artist at Brighton Dome & Festival and an Honorary Fellow at Plymouth University.
CHLOÉ BEILLEVAIRE
Workshops: Floorwork and Spiraling (Level B – C), Mastering the Shift (Level B – C)
Chloé Beillevaire is a French choreographer and performer. After graduating from the CNSMD in Lyon, she developed a wide range of stage experiences in France, notably working with Olivier Dubois, and later in Belgium with Ultima Vez / Wim Vandekeybus, where she refined her own artistic voice through a choreographic language infused with theatricality.
She then continued her career as a performer while further exploring transdisciplinary practices, working with Backsteinhaus Produktion in Germany as well as with Christophe Rhules and Julien Cassier from the documentary theatre company GDRA.
Deeply committed to passing on her knowledge, Chloé regularly conducts artistic and cultural education activities related to her shows (from kindergarten to high school) and give intensive workshops in France and abroad for professional dancers. Since 2019, she has been a guest choreographer each year at the professional training program Performact in Portugal. In collaboration with the students, she creates group pieces and dance films exploring themes of disobedience and the hyperactivity of the contemporary world.
In 2021, driven by the desire to advocate for an accessible form of contemporary dance she founded the company La Teneur. Through this platform, she develops hybrid projects that bring together dance, theatre, and performance. She is currently in the process of creating the children’s show „Ah tâtons!“ and is on tour with her collaborator Steven Chotard with their duo SCHLASS.
FÁBIO (KRAYZE) JANUÁRIO

Fábio Jorge Januário was born on 18 August 1988 in Luanda, Angola. He came to Portugal in 2002 where he began his dance career. In 2015 he completed his degree in Dance at Escola Superior de Dança (Lisbon).
He developed his knowledge of urban dances in hip-hop, house, popping and locking, frequently giving Kuduro workshops and masterclasses in Portugal and abroad, such as in France, Switzerland, Slovakia, Belgium, Hungary etc.
Since 2022, he has been a performer in Marco da Silva Ferreira’s play CARCAÇA and Fuckin Future which premiered on 21 October 2021 and is currently on an international tour. Fábio’s research is always in the area of Kuduro and for projects associated with other artists, from music videos to TV shows. created his first play, Musseque, for an institutional theatre, Teatro do Bairro Alto in Lisbon and was part of Aerowaves Spring Forward 2026. For him, the research is an ongoing process in Kuduro and other urban dances, as well as contemporary dance.
