Lietuvos šokio informacijos centras (LŠIC) kviečia į nemokamą šokio dramaturgijos seminarą “The Place of the Other – Outlining Dance Dramaturgy as a Collaborative Practice”. Renginio metu šokio dramaturgas ir kuratorius Thomasas Schauppas pasidalins savo įžvalgomis, kaip dramaturgijos pagalba tiesti tiltus tarp meno kūrinio ir žiūrovo bei ugdyti kūrybinį ir kritinį mąstymą.
Seminare gali dalyvauti profesionalūs ir pradedantys šokio menininkai, šokio mokytojai, žinios taip pat bus naudingos kitiems scenos meno atstovams.
Seminaro laikas ir vieta: balandžio 29 d., 10.30 val Menų Spaustuvėje. Numatoma trukmė: 3 val su trumpa pertrauka.
Seminaras vyks anglų kalba.

Plačiau apie seminarą: “Dramaturgy and the dramaturgical still can be considered as a relatively new profession as well as mode of thinking within the dance field, especially in contemporary dance practices. And here it is, if at all, widely understood as a mode of looking and thinking in and through the evolution of ideas thru time – assisting the choreographer in building up the final journey of the dance work. Far less considered is a profound aspect that lies right within the notion of dramaturgy itself. As it translates itself as „working with/on actions“, it could also be understood as a mode of „thinking in togetherness“ – Relevant in times, in which art as a place for public discourse is increasingly challenged by the polarization in the society.
Based on this presumption this Introductory Workshop outlines the Dramaturgical as a collaborative practice, interlinking the arts with the society, creating common grounds and considering the place of the other, e.g. the public. Together we will raise questions around the relevance and the necessity but also the responsibility of the Dramaturgical within Art Making?”
Trumpai apie lektorių: šokio dramaturgas ir kuratorius Thomas Schaupp, dar studijuodamas meno istoriją Berlyne, 2010 metais, pirmosios praktikos metu atsidūrė Sashos Waltz & Guests komandoje, o vėliau į dramaturgijos praktiką gilinosi Nacionaliniame šokio centre Bukarešte. Po studijų Thomasas pasinėrė į praktiką ir iki šiol aktyviai kuria su choreografais Europoje ir už jos ribų, reguliariai yra kviečiamas dėstyti ir bendradarbiauti su aukštosiomis meno mokyklomis Berlyne, Reikjavike, Pekine, yra vienas iš seminarų bei tinklalaidžių „Kontekstualizuojant šokį“ kuratorių.
