Adrian Carlo Bibiano to go to Visiting Artist Programme in Helsinki

Big Pulse Dance Alliance (BPDA), a network of 12 European dance festivals and institutions, has announced its selected artists for the Visiting Artist Programme, which will take place in Helsinki, 8-12th of February 2023. The Visiting Artist Programme offers an opportunity for artists to visit BPDA partner festivals, stimulates artistic development, creative exchange and valuable networking.

Dancer, choreographer and educator Adrian Carlo Bibiano was selected to visit the international dance festival Side Step Festival and the Visiting Artists Programme as an artist from Lithuania.

Adrian Carlo Bibiano; born in Canada in 1995, raised in Mexico where he met dance. Currently based in Lithuania and continuing his journey. Carlo’s passion for dance is visible in the last years of unwavering commitment to his craft. He has been working alongside “cía. Médula”, “la quinto danza y teatro”, in collaboration with national artists and abroad. Carlo is currently a member of “NUEPIKO Dance Company”, ŠŠA (Lithuanian Contemporary Dance Association) and a facilitator at different venues, committed to helping students and freely sharing his knowledge with the community he is lucky enough to meet. Carlo greatly values every one of his life experiences, which remind him to stay patient, kind, and not take life too seriously.
